Trail Alerts

For 2025 we are creating a new (and simple) way to link aspiring hikers on the Pamir Trail to connect and inform one another. If you’re interested drop us a WhatsApp message or email your WhatsApp number and we’ll add you to the Pamir Trail 2025 WhatsApp group. In this group hikers can share current trail conditions, share knowledge about shops along the trail and hikers can hook up to hike (parts of) the Pamir Trail together.

We’re developing this page for trail alerts on the Pamir Trail, shared with us by our local connections or fellow hikers (perhaps through the WhatsApp group). It could be a broken bridge denying a river crossing, a path washed away by a landslide or even things like political unrest.
